I love {love love love} to organize and clean.
Well, maybe not scrub the toilets, but I love to “pick up” and make my house look presentable.
I am sure you can imagine what a crazy nester I was when I was preggers. Yea, it was bad. Bad to the point that I thought my husband might hurt me if I ask him to organize one more sock drawer.
By the way, why do men keep their closets so unorganized and messy? It’s like a bomb went off in there. I am very thankful we don’t share a closet or I would be all crazy wife on him.
Not that I haven’t gone all crazy wife on him anyway. Ahem.
There were some fantastic ideas linked up to the “Clean It” party and I wanted to share with you 3 of my favorites {even if I am a few weeks late}!
First of all, my scarf collection is out of control and so is my ability to organize them. I was so inspired to see this fantastic scarf organizer by Bonfires and Wine. Creative, huh?
Another genius way to keep clean? Have your kids clean! Don’t think I’m above that. You better believe that once SJ gets his booty out of diapers he’ll be learning how use a vacuum.
I have never come across a chore chart down with cookie sheets and magnets. I would say, “Smart Cookie”, but that’s a pretty corny pun. Check out how Boxy Colonial put together this chore chart system for her family.
And finally…can we all get an AMEN for nice, pretty and organized kitchen drawers?
Listen, I’m still guilty of having a few kitchen drawers that are out of control, but this weeks link up has pretty much sealed the deal on the fact that I’ll be spending my weekend organizing the crap out of those drawers. The dorky side of me just got really excited about that.
One of my favorite parts about The Hankful House’s kitchen drawer organization is that it doesn’t have to be complex or expensive. She even uses Glad plastic containers for pete’s sake. Love that.
Alright, so what are you doing to keep clean and organized. Please share so I can add to my weekend plans!
